Seeing you folks working on your guitars makes me want to step up my game. I got a quote for a custom pickguard, I just need the scratch for it to complete turning my Peavey Raptor I (International Series) into a one 'bucker monster. Currently I have a Duncan Designed 'bucker in there but would like the SD SH-8 Invader. That's a project I've been working on since the early 2000's and not being able to play it was driving me batty. I have the old custom HSS guard with misaligned screw holes on it. As an aside does anyone know of a good reputable place that does reasonably priced custom guards? I found a couple places but can't remember which one I used last time that screwed up the guard. Thanks for your help.

Actually I think they may have been the ones who screwed up my pickguard, it's a 10 hole guard but they put 11 holes in it and the slot for the neck is too narrow. I'm talking to the folks at pickguards.us to see what we can do about it as I no longer have the original guard.

send in the pickguard you want a replacement for and they'll do a replica in whatever kind of material you want. Very reasonably priced, and they do great work.
