Re: Approx value of 1984 JCM 800 2205? PV Ultra Plus?
Sorry to hear that BR, but I can identify with some of it. My wife of 15 years asked for a divorce 6 years ago and I just walked away from the house and everything and still trying to get on my feet again and I lost my job the same month the D was final and had to hustle for a while. Lots of other stuff involved that has help me to NOT be able to get back to "stable" or whatever you call it. Not touting my own stuff, just saying there are a lot of people here who can identify with you! Except, I can't imagine what you're going through with your daughter!
Definitely prayers coming your way bro!
As for the brakes, what kind of car is it? Who is telling you that everything is shot? If it is Brake's Plus, take it to a local independent mechanic, they are notorious for ripping people off. You also mentioned the rotors, you can buy a set of front rotors from Autozone or some Advance for probably less than $75 and disc brakes are easy to change with just a little mechanical know-how, got any friends that tinker? Putting $1000 into a car hurts, especially with everything else going on. Anyway, I'm big on DIY on cars when I can, so it's my <$0.02. We can take this disussion offline, definitely going OT.
