aps 1 alnico pro 2 vid demonstration

Hi,
After reading for quite some time now I decided to register, and maybe pass on some of my experiece, At least I learnt a few things.

Anyway this is a short vid recorded with the aps1 vintage stagger neck position, on a strat.
I plugged directly to the sound card no preamp or amp just a plugin.

I really like the tone, but my freind tells me I should get the Antiquty texas hots and get it over with already.

please let me know what u think?

ok .maybe i didn't phrase the topic right.
The thing is if u do a search U'll notice most people recommend this pup for the bridge position.
I put it in the neck and don't think it lacks twang, sparkle etc'.
I left everything flat no eq.

yes, these pups need volume! And they sound better cranked.

Now for the question :

anyone that had this pup and the texas hots?

Is it worth upgrading to the texas hots? will I gain a much better tone than this?

There are so many posts about this pickup, I think this thread can be useful.
Dont want to bump the topic but sure would like some info.

could someone load a soundfile with the texas hots?
