APS-2 & SSL-2 ?

What is the diff. between these two what would you use them for.

If I don't sell My hardtail, I was thinking of making a Strat/Tele sound out of it with a pair of these and a twangbanger.

The diff is alnico 2 vs. alnico 5. The APS-2 will have softer slightly less glassy treble and a thicker, chunkier tone than the SSL-2. People tend to use these flat poled single coils more in guitars with flatter, more modern fingerboards. Lew
