Arch top Tele?

Does this exist, or am I just stupid and haven't found it yet?

I would love to own such a thing.

Both of my Teles have an arched/carved top. My Aerodyne Tele and my Spalted Maple HH Tele.

the closest I think you can get to a jazzbox anyway is a thinline tele

G and L Asat Deluxe [the L stands for Leo Fender] in either solid and hollow body
They come from the factory with a 59 and a JB.
These are really nice guitars.
The G&L gives options for the American instruments. Options include neck sizees and shapes. The finishes are drop dead beautiful and in some cases-stunning.
Once you get done with the special order section, you will have a custom shop guitar.

But the only thing "Tele" about that is the outline of the body.

Why not just get a LP if that's what you're looking at?

You won't see an arched top Tele with a Tele bridge and pickup, because the bridge plate needs a huge flat spot.

That's why you only see HH, et al.

My Aerodyne Telecaster has an arched top with a modern style tele bridge and tele bridge pickup.

1. Because I've already got a Les Paul and 3 other traditional Teles.

2. Current Les Pauls don't have rosewood finger boards, coil tapped pickups, abalone fret markers, binding, and flamed maple tops for $650.

3. It doesn't sound anything like a Les Paul. Actually with the thin mahogany body and mahogany set neck it does a great SG tone but it's not neck heavy.

Why carved-top Tele? Because they're awesome.

I like USACG's carve. Looks great and allows for pretty much any bridge you want.

I understand your point.

1. Because I've already got a traditional Tele and 5 LPs

2. All of my LPs have rosewood boards, coil tap, binding, flamed or curly maple tops, three are under $650.

3. It doesn't sound anything at all like a Tele, but can be made to sound like either an SG or a LP (depending upon settings and pups), and I already have 4 SGs.

A better arguement would have been...I like the looks and feel of a Tele, but I also like the looks of a carved top, and I like the tone of a Gibson.
