Are FaitalPRO speakers any good?

Snake Aces

I've been using Eminence bass speakers for the past decade and Eminence guitar speakers for almost two decades now. I love Eminence.

However, I can't find 4 ohm versions of the Eminence neo-mag 3015LF speakers I wanted for my new 2x15 cab build.

As a result, I'm considering two FaitalPRO 15PR400 speakers for the 2x15. According to some of my research, my GK 1001RB-II should have enough juice to power them when used in parallel with another 8 ohm cab to create a 4 ohm load.

For now, the cab will be paired with a 12-inch 8 ohm cab. But in the future, it will be paired with an 18-inch 8 ohm cab (considering the FaitalPRO 18HP1022 for that cab).

Are FaitalPRO speakers going to make me happy? They are a little more expensive than other neo-mag speakers, but are they worth it?

I had never heard of them either. They are Italian. They make professional-grade speakers and woofers for PA applications. That's about all I know about FaitalPRO at this point.

My other option would be to contact Eminence to see if they can make two 4-ohm 3015LF speakers for me...

I think I'm going to order the FaitalPRO 15s tonight. I'm going to give them a whirl. I have used some nice speakers in my day, including an Eminence 3012LF in one of my current cabs.

My research suggests FaitalPRO speakers are considered premium. The 15PR400 is considered an ideal speaker for premium bass cab builds. I'd like to see if I like FaitalPROs before I have my 1x18 built.

I have not seen anything to suggest I won't be happy with the 15PR400. I just need to work out the final details with my cab builder.

I typically haven't even looked at PA speakers for bass cabs in the past. This is new territory for me. I actually just placed the order for the FaitalPRO 15PR400's.

My cab builder says he just built two 1x15s for a bassplayer using these same FaitalPRO speakers, so I'm confident that I will be happy with them.

A local PA provider around here swears by them. He has old W bins loaded with them.
Another good company is B&C they will match up speakers for your cab specs if you call them.
