Arg, did I mess up my 5-way switch?

I wired up my Strat from scratch today, and I know I made all the right connections and whatnot because it was the same layout as my Ibanez. I had one problem though, I got too much solder on one of the lugs and it dripped down pretty far into the switch (it was actually blocking the movement of the lever until I got some out). I tried getting some of it out, but there still seems to be a bit in there. Will this mess up the signal or anything? My guitar doesn't have tuners yet, so I can't string it up and try it out.

THANKS!

as long as it's not touching the little "lever" or another terminal, you should be fine.

I had a similar occurence on an old '79 Strat switch-- solder overlapped onto several terminals and three or four pickups would be going at once. I replaced the switch with a new Fender replacement, and it actually improved the tone.
