Celestion finally got a clue. There's an ad in the new Guitar Player (Warren Haynes cover) for the new Celestion Gold. They claim it sounds like a Blue, but handles 50 watts.

I guess they got tired of Ted Weber and Eminence eating their lunch.

I saw the ad.
Those were at Winter NAMM at the start of the year, but it must've taken them till now to get them into production if they're just starting ads in the mags.

now there will be a big debate about if they sound the same as the Blues.

I've been curious about those since I heard they were comming out but Imgonna be honest...$300 for one speaker is almosty out of the question for me...there are lots of KILLER speakers out there for a lot less money!
