Re: ATTN those who own a Dunlop DC brick power supply

those units are insane! I've not got the exact measurements but its about 4.5' by 2'. My favourite thing about it is that it never gets hot! runs real smooth all the time!

Awsome, thanks! I was definatly thinkign about getting one!

Re: ATTN those who own a Dunlop DC brick power supply

Mine hummed like a tone-deaf singer who didn't know the words. It was quickly returned.

If you're looking for a pedal power supply and can't afford/justify the $$$ for a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power, I'd suggest you save yourself a chunk of dough and just get a Godlyke or 1Spot.

Re: ATTN those who own a Dunlop DC brick power supply

Hmmm, I'll look into those! The reviews said it had virtually no noise, maybe yours was just a lemon?

Re: ATTN those who own a Dunlop DC brick power supply

The DC Brick that I had was very noisy as well. I just use a Furman pedal board not with built in power. Much better for me.

Hmmm, I'll have to look into that. the guy at the music store said it might not like BOSS pedals and be noisy with them. I'll look around and search the forums for power supplies.

That just doesn't sound right...I've never used one, but I can attest to the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power and the One Spot. Both are great.

Yeh i agree those things (Godlyke Power All and Visual Sound 1 SPOT) are great cos they take up no space (I have one coming in the mail soon cant wait)

I'd say it was most likley to work with boss. I've got some wierder pedals, and it had real trouble with them, the EHX, Visual sound stuff was a pain to keep powered. The voodoo labs one can't be beat IMO.

Re: ATTN those who own a Dunlop DC brick power supply

Yeah, and alot of the reviewers on harmony central who say its great have BOSS pedals. He said something about the polarity or something...I checked that little polarity diagram on my BOSS ch-1 and its the same as my crybaby, so I don't think that an issue really. I guess I'll have to try it.
