ATV 100 high

I've buy an atv 100.
With my dist DS-1 it should play with a very open and clean tone but there are ampl's hight that in my opinion aren't normal hight but screamer because the more i open dist's tone the more sound it's cutting (scraming).

What do you think?

On the Marshall's board there is "Presence" that sould work like a tone but the more it's turned high, more it creates a fzzz sound.
As sample you can listen a similar sound into "forbidden evil".

Are you talking about feedback of some sort or just too much treble? Are you using the distortion from the pedal by itself or combined with the amp?

Sorry if I've misunderstood your question... you're english is a bit rough but I understand somewhat.

Be careful with the tone controls on your amp when dealing with distortion pedals. Settings that sound good without the pedal may not always sound good with the pedal. If the treble is too much for you try rolling the tone control on the DS1 back a notch and let the presence and treble controls on the amp control your high-end sounds.

Sorry about my bad english. Thanks, i found something good until i'll buy JCM 800 that is the best in amps (that was 20 years old and i think when i'll buy my ones plays like that). Technlogy may be changed into JCM but valve it's the same!!!

No worries about the language barrier, man. I fail miserablyt at my attempts to speak different languages so my hat's off to you!

So true about the technology. People are always looking for ways to really max out what a tube has to offer but sometimes you just have to acknowledge that they got it right the first time. :smoker:
