Average DC resistance of Seths?

I'm about to order a set and was wondering what I will get. Are the sets generally well matched? I have looked on the tone chart on the website. I am hoping for a low 7 and very low 8.

Can anyone tell me how these sound uncovered? They will be replacing my bb2 & bb3 combo. I am hoping they will be less harsh, taking the tone knob into consideration.

The average DC resistance is what is listed on the specs. It can be a hair higher or lower.

i have a seth neck that is 7.3k that i use uncovered and it is great. its in my #1 guitar, warm and very sweet sounding. i think low 7's and low 8's are what to expect.
