Pinstripe you have a beautiful ax. Unlike other people that might doubt its authenticity and strike out due to jealosy, I congratulate you on owning such a beautiful guitar. I might say I am a bit jealous myself. I would love to get a chance to play guitar like that let alone own it.

Well, if you're ever in London, PM me and we can arrange it.

The whole story on this doesnt add up. Found "under the bed" with original flatwounds. Yet as others mentioned its been refretted. How does one wear out frets, with flatwounds no less, without wearing the back of the neck AT ALL or putting any dings our buckle rash anywhere else.

Also the seller, who posted those photos, Eric Ernest of Abalone Vintage, says there was a laminated article about his shop. Who laminates an article about a local shop they have nothing to do with? That laminated article was supposed under the LP in the case, ... Hmmmm older lamination plastic would eat into the nitro yet not a mark?

I posting the obvious refret into on mylespaul and they just deleted my entire post. So corrupt. mylespaul the lespaulforum are completely corrupt with a small boys club selling fakes and attacking all outsiders like crazy. Eric Ernest attacked Capsule Music in Toronto on those forums then he sells this obvious "issues" piece and they delete any posts that state the obvious.

There is plenty more wrong with the gold top. Such as that refret. The binding is uniform yellow. The board looks untouched. Generally during a refret the board is sanded a bit to ensure flatness. This would be how the "nibs" got lost yet no evidence the board was never touched. My guess is those frets are in fact original - on a fake 57 goldtop.

I do not trust mylespaul or the lespaulforum at all. The seller is card carrying member of both and I have seen those guys rip outsiders to shreds, delete posts, band people and then pass off stuff liek this and then comments on each others posts for validation/support .... all to often. Joe B is involved almost every time too. Big time sham.
