Just gotta say that Mrs. BriGuy ROCKS!!

I spent a little cash from our tax refund on gear upgrades this year... more than I probably should have. I got a new amp & effects pedal, splurged on some new pickups (including some P-Rails with Triple Shots for Rachel), and some other miscellaneous hardware upgrades. Mrs. BriGuy was good with it... even supportive and encouraging!

But today I got a text from my bank account that a rather large purchase got made at my local G.C. She had gone in to get me a Valentine's Day present as a surprise, but in her typical way, she couldn't keep it to herself and told me what she ordered for me (without any coaxing from me)...

...a BC Rich Perfect 10 Bich!



Oh yeah... and all she wants in return (or at least so she says) is dinner, a movie (chick-flick... uggh, but well worth it) and a night of... well... let's just say that I hope my aging body is up to the challenge!

It's supposed to be here next Tuesday... woohoo!

I have always liked the look of those. There was a guy that worked for a wile at Kelsey Music in Springfield Oregon back in around 79, 80, that had one, serial #10.

Wow... #10 is pretty impressive! I imagine mine will be ever-so-slightly higher than that!

But I agree... they're a great looking guitar. I'm usually more into traditional shapes (not really into most "pointies"), but BC Rich's Bich and Mockingbird are, in my opinion, some of the best lookers out there!

It looks as though they have. I don't know how true it is, but the G.C. guy told my wife that she got the last one... they still show them on the website, though. The new BC Rich website has virtually NOTHING about them anymore. That's kinda disappointing... you'd think they'd at least have an area where you can see info on discontinued models, etc. I emailed them earlier today to see about getting a pdf version of a manual and perhaps a wiring diagram, but haven't heard back yet. Did a little poking around online and I'm starting to think there might be a legal thing going on between BC Rich and the original designer of the Bich.
