Well, it's been quite a while! A couple of guitars and amps later, here I am again, with my new Traynor Amp, a bass guitar, Acid drums, Adobe Audition and several CSi master effects.
I hesitate a bit to post this one because I rarely do clean stuff, let alone jazzy stuff like this but it sounds better than I thought.
This is Misty's chord progression. I used the chords as an exercise because I need improvement on intricate chords like jazz chords. I accelerated the pace quite a bit and put a new lead line over it (a bit challenging because there are several accidental flats in there, so trying to follow a normal scale ends up clashing against the chords once in a while).
I then added a base line. This was recorded with an Epiphone Dot with stock pickups. Great guitar for this type of things, but since this is not my regular stuff, I ended up selling it to buy the Agile and the bass.
There's on-board reverb and that's it. The clean of the Traynor amp shows up nicely.
If anyone (the older guy like me I suppose
) would like the backing track without the lead, I'll post it later on.
This is smooth. Enjoy!
