just for fun, i plugged my vox 848 backwards yesterday

pretty cool seal sounds....though it sounded like a dying seal...:smack:

pretty cool effects by adjusting the tone and volume control too

i wonder what other ppl's wahs sound like when backwards..

surely not as awkward sounding like my vox which sounds like a seal getting speared

That's pretty much what they sound like. Add some delay and other effects and mess around with it. (And listen to the middle of Echoes to hear how Gilmour does it)

I've been wanting to try this for a while, but I just never got around to it. If you do it with other types of effects, all kinds of bad things happen.

Which wah's does this work for? I know it doesnt for my behringer. Is it only vintage designs?

I know it works with vintage and vintage-style wahs such as the Vox, Dunlop Crybaby, and Teese series.
