Yo, that definitely rocked. I especially like that little short intro. I'm not sure how I feel about the keyboards, they just seemed to be a little too far in the background to be consequential. Good playing.

I don't recognize the tune...It sounds like something Faster *****cat would have done.
Overall, good tone, good playing, not so good recording.

people often say its a filler but i like it, thanks for the comments dudes, i have audacity for recording software and works fine, but i think the mic is the problem, ill solve it, thanks again for listening

Hey man, I like hearing these not so well known G N' R songs. Here is my critique. In the intro try to use a clean sound like the recording, and possibly check the rhythms. For the most part the playing during the rest of the tune is pretty good, but the tone leaves (IMO) a lot to be desired. It could be the fact that I have heard this song so many times that I have it in my head a certain way, but I would try to get closer to Slash's sound on this one. The solo was good too for the most part, you hit all the ideas, I dont know if all of the fast stuff was note for note but it was close. In technical terms for the solo, try to copy Slash's phrasing, he is almost always legato and connected. Also some of the bends should be better intonated. All of the stuff after the solo was rockin' great though. When you listen to it, are these the criticisms you'd give? I have been tossing around the notion of recording Don't Damn Me, but its kind of a pain in the ass to program drums. But i will probably do it eventually.

I like this song and your version sounded a little like a 40-year old's backing band. It wasn't as funky as the original, your version was played well, but without too much noticable soul- maybe in part this was due to the note for note rendition (which to me doesn't help anyone).

With a track like this one, without vocals, you'd need to step it up in other departments- like the rhythm guitar, which was good, but pedestrian.

Sorry to be so critical.

By the way, what was your intention for doing this song?

Thanks for the comments dudes, the backing track (drums and bass) were taken of GUITAR PRO, so they suck i know, i dont have any drums programs so that was the only way to record it.
Obviously the solo wasnt made note by note, i love slash prashing but im not too good at legato:smack: , so i get your point there
About the tone, well my gear isnt the best one, and epi standard and a little mgcd15 so maybe is that....
My intention was.... having fun dude!! im not pro or advanced player so i dont take it to seriously but im glad you listened and gave your critics because that helps me to improve
