I just picked up this pedal in a trade. It's pretty interesting--a clean boost that really sounds like you are getting more out of your amp. At around 9:00 or so it fattens everything up and adds just a bit of presence. At settings higher than that you get a progressively louder volume boost, sort of like turning your amp up. It is certainly not a Swiss Army Knife type of pedal, but it's one trick is pretty sweet. From what I have read, it comes from the same school of thought as the Klon and SHO.
I tried it with a Rickenbacker twelve string and it sounded great...a nice alternative to a compressor to acheive jangly fatness.
This is a crap clip, but it gives you a flavor of what the pedal does. The BBB kicks in around halfway through. The recording may not be good enough capture it--I was picking up a bit of amp buzz. I'll try another one soon.
