Bare Knuckle Pickups

What exactly are the model names referencing. I think I have a couple of them figured out, like the Sultans Single Coils and the Riff Raff humbucker, but a lot of the other ones are a mystery to me. Does anybody have any experience with thes pickups and can you give a comparison to something more familiar?

Maybe you'd want to ask on their board?? I'm sure there'd be some well versed folks over there....well more than here anyway.

Both benji and ranalli are correct ... the pup names are designed to give you a ballpark idea of what kind of sound they are voiced for.

Also, there is a users forum, with a ton of clips by killer players.

I believe there's a allman brothers ref...jimmy pag ref (black dog)....

Awesome sounding pickups.....I may pick up a cold sweat when they become available...
