Anyone have any experience with the Model P and the Quarter Pound P pickup? Any opinion on which is better? Seems like the Model P has more mids but thought I’d ask here. I’m thinking of getting one of these.
 
Both are high output, and both have a lot of mids. I don't think the chart on the SD page is quite right. The SD certainly looks cooler, though.
 
i love the qp pups. ive used jazz and p, and had both in the same bass before and always been happy with them. they are not a vintage sound, which i love too, but if you want something more aggressive, they are great
 
I think at the moment I’m leaning towards the model p. It has more mids and doesn’t sound as scooped from the demos I’ve heard.

Like I said, the graph for the QP is incorrect. There are a ton of mids.
