Bass pot values for PTB wiring

Hi, I'm new to the forum

I'm planning on installing 3 single coil size humbuckers into a strat, and have been thinking about using passive treble & bass wiring.
I doubt it makes a huge difference, but considering that in standard a tone control, 500K pots are brighter than 250K etc, how does the resistance value of a bass pot value affect the sound in ptb wiring?
Will a lower value roll off some of the lows even when turned up to 10?

Welcome to the forum.

I believe there's no way to no load the passive bass control so for that reason I didn't care for it because it always cuts some low even on 10. It might not be too bad with a 1 meg pot. I think passive bass diagrams usually specify 500k or 1meg pot. My HSS with single coil size humbuckers sounds good with 500k pots as the volume. I can see passive bass controls being very useful if you play with distortion a lot though.
