Bass Practice amp

How's it hangin'? :laugh2:

Anyway, as i told you all before i have ordered a 100w bass combo, so until my amp has arrived (will take 1-2 weeks!), i have borrowed a 100w from the store, i can have the volume at 6 and still get the low sound of my 5w Roland micro cube, i have orderad a Ashdown amp, should i go for the 30w instead of the 100w so i can have it as a practice/home amp and save up for something bigger, with 100w you can't be on the same level as the guitarist as i thought when i ordered it.

So, what would you do? Ashdown have a 15w also but with that i'll get a 8 speaker and i don't like those

PS! I'm hopping that maybe tomorrow and i can show some pics of my new bass! I just need to borrow a camera from the school, only place/person i know who has one :D

Re: Bass Practice amp

Are you presently in a band? If not, I'd say go for the practice amp for now and save for something bigger later on (I personally think 200 watts is ideal). I don't know anything about the Ashdown amps, but my 30-watt Pignose is presently my primary amplifier. It's more than enough for the open-mic and other solo gigs I do. Meanwhile, I'll dig the 200-watt Fender out of storage when/if I finally get another band together....

Re: Bass Practice amp

Thanks for your answer!

No, i'm not in a band at the moment so a practice amp would be considering.

Thanks! :)
