Bassists?! (Sikth content)

guys, has anyone nailed that pluck/slap/pop technique that the sikth guy uses?

i love slap/pop, but the guy can rattle off a burst of three like a machine gun, and im dying to know how he does it! a webpage or a link to a video would be smashing..

Sorry Tom, But I've always wanted to put it in my line up too. Try Hotlick video's (Ebay) is really the only way to get them anymore since they went out of business 2002............Steve

Tom,

It's basically a pop, a muted hammer-on then a thumb, sounds easy but needs a fair bit of practice to get down. Another alternative which (which I use) is to do a pop and double-thumb, which I find easier but again is tricky to get down due to the speed/fatigue involved.

oo cheers guys - the closest i can get at the moment is pop-thump-thump, but what moog's saying does make sense! ill have a go tomorrow..
