:laugh2: Seems to me that almost all guitarists like a little distortion sometimes...even guys like George Bensen. Makes the guitar sound warm and full instead of like a banjo! I don't use any effects or even a master volume control if I can help it though. Just a guitar and a cord and an amp. Lew

i like the tone of my bandmaster alot better than my deluxe when it comes to louder chording and such. Alot less fart, alot more ringing out of tones with a light glaze, i guess i dont like having too much balls hehehe!

yeah i hear ya, i never play clean, well, hardly ever. just kinda suprised me, i figured you were one of those guys that BARELY lays on the overdrive, just for like warmth & sustain, but apparently you lay it on pretty thick
