i've got a v-amp2 too... it's ok for recording etc ...
never tried something else...

it's funny how my main setting changed on this thing... it seems that you can always improve the sound... maybe just taste my changes

Digitech GNX3000 all the way.Much better than any line6 product imo.I owned the pod xt live but i never liked it.If plugins are your thing then amplitube 2.Search for samples in the net,these 2 are the best there is in my opinion.

i think all modelers have week and strong pros, for example the Pod XT is great one, but its kinda thin sounding, i´ve also heard that the v-amp pro is better than the v-amp2, i dont know how but i heard the v-amp played live once and doesn´t sound that good ...

i also tried the POD 2.0 and its quite good, it doesnt have the thinness of the xt... for my ear and taste
