Battle of the Solid States

Re: Battle of the Solid States

Theres an older amp called the Fender Ultra Chorus which is just perfect. Amazing warm clean sounds, versatile and 'vibey' overdrive tones, and a high quality chorus channel to boot. Keep in mind, this is coming from someone that absolutely hates the Roland Jazz Choruses that they had in every large practice room and every stage in my university. I always thought the jazz chorus has a very unnatural compression or 'spikeyness' that it adds to every note you play. It's one of the few historically significant amps that I really just.. don't understand the appeal.

The absolutely best sounding solid state amps I have ever heard are Quilter amps. You simply must hear them for yourself.
