Beat up ratty guitars

I am putting together my current "assembly" and seriously thinking about just putting it together in a total rat build kind of state. Kind of a sleeper so to speak. Any other ratty looking pos "looking" builds out there? Not a relic thing more of a ran over kind of thing. If you have one let's see it yo!

It's in the attic but I decided I was going to strip the thick poly of. MIM strat. I finally ended up gouging it so badly, I called it a relic. Like a relic that was dragged behind a garbage truck 20 miles. It was an awful abuse of wood.

Ok, I suppose this is the closest thing I have to a "rat" version of a guitar.

Here it is. I got ticked off at the poly finish and finally after a few accidental chip marks, I just said screw it and went for it. Some gold spray paint and BOOM goes the Dynamite.

Here is what mine is in a mock up, still thinking about it. Maybe one of those skull splitters would help with the desicion making. There has to be more beat up guitars out there.

It's the one I offered. But he has not taken me up on it. I did find the loaded pick guard for it however.

Dont have one yet. but I have an old Kramer body that my An-l retentive self has been wanting to refinish to make it perfect and then build it up.. Im really thinking I should just leave it as is and build it.. If I did manage to strip the thick finish off, I wouldnt be happy with it being natural, I wouldnt be happy with rattle canning it, so, I may as well accept her faults and start showing her some love..
