i got a new clip up but there's a warning that i must tell you:










do not take it seriously at all, no matter how much you hate it, Do not take it seriously!
it's 2 1/2 minutes long, and the soo at the end is the part that went wrong!! :laugh2:

I think you may have overdid it a little with the shredding but as twilight said theres some great ideas in there..i liked the way the arpeggio was played all through the song,but the mic seemed a little cluttered, a little eq'uing woudl help that..

Hahahaha. That was great! I was wondering where it was going after the arpeggiating, and then the lead kicked in. It was good playing, but the end part really made me burst out laughing. :dance:

the main arpeggio was alternate picked and that was why there were some mistakes in there with the rhythm. most of the (attempted) solo was alternate picked and of course the D major arpeggio at the end was sweeped

Great sounding clip.

I know when I was 15, I was focusing on similar things like sweeping techniques (which BTW, is more advanced than I was at your age). Ahhh, to be young and full of c#m. I'd guess a lot of the older guys will say the same thing, it seems like a right of passage before single note phrasing and 'feel' become important.

The only thing I'd suggest, is to work on the strength in your hands so your bending sounds more aggressive, fluid and stable. Also, try and get some wider vibrato going on those single notes.

the arpeggios at the start are nice man, well executed and even - nice note choice

I'd watch some of your bends in the solo because the odd one was out, but the picking was quite even through most of it so cool track

the arpregios at the begining are too long .. you should've kicked with the rythm bit sooner. the ROFL! nevermind
you had it going at the 1:42 lil solo, but that sweep picking didnt fit.
i like where you were going to with the rythm bit and the 2nd (well, 3rd guitar) part
