Anybody experienced tone-loss or problems with the DD-6 by BOSS?

No, none at all when I had one.

If you want more features don't be afraid to look at the DD-20, it's not much more expensive than the DD-6 and has way more features, and sounds AMAZING.

He's right, but if pedalboard space is an issue, the DD6 is awesome.

Re: Before I buy a DD-6

DD6 is a great pedal! DD20 looks really cool but yea, it's huge.

Re: Before I buy a DD-6

but if having so many options is not a problem and you don't need that many delay options, I particularly recommnend the DD-3. it does all the delay stuff and doesn't cost quite as much. the dd-6 is a cool pedal and does some wacky stuff, but if you don't need all the wackiness, go with a DD-3.

Re: Before I buy a DD-6

If you are getting it for a Tap Tempo, the Echo Park is better because you don't have to hold down the pedal to switch the delay on/off. And if you are buying it new, Music123 is selling the DD-20 for only $20 more than the DD-6 right now (the upgrade is definitely worth it).
