Behringer GDI test

DankStar

Her Little Mojo Minion
Picked up a behringer GDI yesterday (the little blue sansamp clone). It's...not bad I guess. Built well (it's really solid), lots of sound options. It's very cool as a pedal in front of my little practice amp. Kind of noisy.

Direct recording is more iffy than I thought it would be (still sounds very direct-y to me). It has a speaker sim in it, but I read somewhere if you use a second one after it might improve a tad. Seems handy for "recording in a pinch" which is kind of where I'm at these days.

Oh, about the recording - only 2 rhythm tracks, panned hard l and r, with the same settings. solo in center with same settings too (I don't usually do that). Solo is off the cuff, so don't laugh too much! Sound quality (of the recording - crappy laptop/audacity) is horrible, and quiet as a church mouse, but you get the idear. Only about half the song is present. Will all be re-done later.

Re: Behringer GDI test

Thanks for checkin' it out!

I'm hoping once I double it on each side with a JCM900 plug-in emulator and record it with a better program (& computer) it'll be a little better.
