got back from guitar center, played a few axes, most of which were more bend friendly than mine. Especially a semi hollowbody epiphone, which completely blew me away in terms of bending gracefully and effortlessly with the merest string wiggle. My schecter takes a good bit of stretch to get a 1/2 step bend.
So what makes a good bending axe? I have eb hybrid slinkies, so pretty light strings, and it's a hardtail which all should make it pretty easy to bend... right? How much influence does a better bridge/nut make in terms of bending? Maybe something to do with scale length?
just wondering,
dan
