Line 6 Vetta. You'll get everything you want plus more. No tubes to change either. If you have to have tubes, Do what the others said and contact Scott at Celtic and he'll tell you if he will build what you want.
If you're like me, you'll end up with both eventually. :smokin:

I would by 5 Traynor Bassmasters.... Get one of those for 300.00 then have another 1200.00 ro play with....

let me ask this...you said not Fender and not Marshall...first, which Fenders and Marshalls have you tried? Also, that leaves a LOT of ground to cover...your budget is $1500...how much power do you need/want? Head and cab or combo? Now that we know what you DON'T want, what DO you want?

Check out a Budda SuperDrive 18
hmmm also consider the Mesa Blue Angel and some models like that which are cheap used, Mesa F30, DC5
hmmmm what else? used Bogners can be very nice! and reasonable.
If you like Death Cab and all I would open your mind to a NEW Fender of some sort. They take pedals well, esp the Reissues.

Ben from Death Cab uses Matchless and Dr. Z...so check out a Dr. Z Maz 18 or Maz 38 (both have the option of reverb IIRC, just depends on the wattage you need).
