I'll agree with Vox AC30 , Twin Reverb 65, those cleans are really sparkly clean. I'll add the Fender Super Sonic 60. Those cleans are really good. Suprisingly the very Metal Engl Fireball 100 has suberb cleans. If you want both good cleans and metal tones. Paul Reed Smith Archon 50 has really warm, buttery, cleans. IMO I don't like the crunch. It's too earthy for my taste.

I still think an AC30 is great, but I've also expanded my horizons a bit. Really, it's just hard to go wrong with any of the amps mentioned. Different flavors of clean; ask again when I'm in a different mood.

Yeah, I've come around too. I now really like a Twin Reverb after having played one recently. The Roland JC 120 is also a superb amplifier.

JTM45 or Tweed Bassman. Same basic circuit.

According to my answer I thought Vox AC30 at the time.

I'll say now I'm leaning more towards a Bassman 4x10 or a Friedman Buxom Betty.
