Whichever one sounds the best.used for 6 months, or returned one with blemish? which one sounds like the better deal? both come with the footswitch....
The DSL isn't really anything like the TSL, though if you like high gain, go with the JVM. It's much better at it. Also, the Stiletto is more akin to the DSL gain and voicing wise than the JVM.
that sounds alright, but I think I could find better. that's really classic sounding too, would like something with modern tones as well
thanks! what about the jvm vs dsl? Can the jvm cover most of the dsl tones?
I'm always keeping an eye out for a good deal on one of those. How much did you end up getting it for?Agreed! 100%. I just ordered an "open box" 5150III 50 watt for damn cheap after trying one out at GC, I returned my Laney Ironheart that I bought last week because after playing the 5150...Laney seemed like a cheap toy! haha.

I agree! It was exactly what I was looking for in an amp. It covers most of the tones I need. Only complaint is my big muff doesn't sound that good anymore, it really kicked ass with my tsl. But with all the channels I don't really need it anymore. Also I can't wait to do the mods, but seems very trickyHow do you like it? I found the JVM the ideal amp for all my needs
I got it for $850. And its an open box item meaning that it was brand new in the box and was returned within 30 days. not even considered a used item ya know....I almost bought one for $650 up in Vegas but by the time I got there the guy already sold it :gurmpy: lol so there are deals out there for sure.
don't forget FJA mods for those sound pretty good. check out the posted clips on youtube and facebook. you can turn that 50 watt head into a screamer in the realms of any Soldano with his mods. The volume jump and shared controls can also be fixed with other mods he does. I'm taking my 2x12 evh iii combo and sticking in a Celestion cream and a Celestion g12h 75 creamback. I really like this tone combo as well for my first mod to my combo amp. next may come a few FJA mods. They are too cool to pass up.
