Most if not almost ALL of the amp breands mentioned here are FAR from unsung IMO...
-Silvertone/Dano/Supro/Valco
-Traynor (NOT the new stuff but the old real deal Traynors)
-Sound City (say what you will...they sound killer and mine has given me no problems)
-Carr (very impressed with thewir stuff and NO body ever talks about them)
-Premier (lovely sounding amps...)
Last but far from least...Mission Amps...I can't say enough good things about Bruce or Mission Amps, the build quality, customer support, and price is well worthy of any of the praise people give to Kendrick, Matchless, Bad Cat, Victoria or any of those other over priced amps!

I've just ordered a Carvin Bel Air so I will let you know what I think. I quite like the clean and dirty clips I've heard of the thing so far. This is the first time I've ever bought an amp sight unseen, so I'm pretty nervous about it.
