another vote for ibanez prestige...same quality than LPs and Strats imo, plus cheaper (and better looks)

I voted for Les Paul. The only thing I will concede to Strats is that they can take an onstage ass whooping and not only still play but stay in tune. You try that with a Les Paul and you end up with some expensive kindling.

my sentiments exactly. my strat just takes anything. but my LP slays tonewise.

So...my first vote goes to ESP. The two other go to Fender Strats and Ibanez Prestiges.

Define "best". If you're talking most versatile, it's gotta be the Tele. If you're talking the most man hours to create, LP Customs or PRS. Personal fave of mine are SG's, but I like old Dean's, too. I also have a Washburn Falcon with coil splitting that sounds like a Paul OR a Strat. Isn't it amazing how many different opinions you get off a poll like this?

That's a Dan Armstrong. They also made those in black lucite in the late 60's & early 70's.

I've only tried about 5 different guitars... Ibanez S/SZ series, American/MIM strats, a Gibson SG, Jackson Dinky (high-end model).... yeah, I really wanna try an ESP Viper. So far though, I'd have to say.... the Jackson was really sweet.

just cause mick thompson plays a bc rich doesnt mean they suck.

i play metal, blues, rock, alternative, and alot of soft stuff like the cult.

i might not ever change my favorite guitar choice again.
i just love the feel, tone and playability of my nj warlock(no speedloader)

Actually, no, you're not. I love those late 70's early 80's Warlocks that Lita Ford & Mick Mars played. I'm not really fond of the newer ones, though I've heard the American ones still retain that old school workmanship.
