Re: Best Guitar Ever

ES series guitars! Does anyone else like semi-hollow 335 style guitars on this forum?

Re: Best Guitar Ever

I voted for Tele, although the best guitars ever built are from Arthur Lang. Best wood, best quality and soooo beautiful

Re: Best Guitar Ever

I had to vote strat, although it was tough as each has their purpose in life.
I suppose I just have to go with what I like, and I always seem to gravitate towards that nice Jangly Strat tone!!
Well there's my thoughts.... so that and a buck fifty might getcha cup of Java.

Re: Best Guitar Ever

Its tough for me to vote. I'd say telecasters for quality and good sound/quality to price ratio. I think les pauls are the most eye catching.

Re: Best Guitar Ever

Having owned numerous Les Pauls, 335s,336, Strats, Teles, PRS, Anderson, and loved them all, my personal favorite is still my McNaught Phoenix.

Re: Best Guitar Ever

If Jacksons were on the list I'd have voted for them... but as they're not I went for the Ibanez P

Re: Best Guitar Ever

I´m sure I´ve posted on this thread before, but just to make sure: Jackson USA Soloist

Re: Best Guitar Ever

I love the stratocaster, lovely to play standing and sitting, infinitly versatile and they sound ****ing awesome, best guitar ever without a doubt (imo)

Re: Best Guitar Ever

Certainly not the Ibanez Prestige series - they just don't hold their value

ESP? Nup...

Excluding all the 'funky shaped' guitars, i.e. Explorer, BC Richs, that leaves...

The fenders in one corner, and the Gibsons and the PRS in the other....

Now, I never liked the SGs weight balance nor was I ever a tele player, so I guess its between the Strat, the Les Paul, and the PRS...

Ultimately, to my mind, the Les Paul is still the icon of rock guitar, though I must say the strat would have to be a very close second!!
