Breakable? Yes I can see how they could easily fly apart if you are a 12 yr old metal shredder falling off the front porch.
A reasonably sober and coordinated adult should not have that problem.
Having made that pompous pronouncement I will likely slam mine into something and break it this evening.

You won't need to "slam" it into anything, just drop it on a hard floor and it will more than likely break.

I compared my orb to my Planet Waves strobe tuner...Orb obviously not as precise, but good enough. I ordered a PW Mini Thursday just to give it a try. I like the unobtrusiveness of it.

I use a red Snark for my acoustic. The only problem I have is that it gets a little wonky sometimes when the drummer and bassist are fiddling around.
