best online type tab resource?

I need to tab some stuff out and don't want to do it by hand. What's the best freebie going these days?

Good question. There's a lot of awful half-assed tab out there. Other fractions, too.

I use PowerTAB. It's been mothballed for quite some time now, but is/was free, and fairly easy to use.

very cool - I was able to pound out what I needed. I can't do all the rests and whatnot to make it sound exact in midi, but I can at least get the point across. Thanks

^^ It's definitely worth it. Easy and intuitive to use and lots of tabs out there in that format as well.

I'm still on V5 though as I wasn't a fan of some changes in 6, but I see 7 is out now, will have to test out.

I do see that Tuxguitar is under development again... it was abandonware for awhile. But functionally it's nowhere close to GP, and has little chance of catching up very fast. If all you need is basic functionality it does the job I suppose.
