a boss super overdrive is A LOT like a ts-9, you can tell if you look at schematics for them, but i doubt you want a tubescreamer

I really like the sound of proco rats in certain setups

a big muff mixed with a ds-1 or zakk wylde could have good results

modded boss os-2, well, depening on the mod it could be perfect or not hard enough

The schematics look similar but the tone stack and gain structure of the SD1 are different...These 2 pedals don't sound anything alike because of the differences...The SD-1 is bright,crunchier,and aggressive...The TS9 is smoother overall and not as crunchy sounding on chords..

It looks like the H2O may be the chorus pedal for me. What is the echo side of that pedal like?. Also, I'm still undecided about delay pedals. Please give me some more insight on those.

It's very nice, actually. Although it's digital, it definitely has that analog warmth.
