my guitar has an alder body, maple neck and ebony fingerboard with a floyd and was wondering what the best pickups would be? i play thrash metal, death metal, a bit of black metal, nu metal, and some metalcore. I use the bridge for strictly solos and the neck for riffs and solos. I don't want my tone to sound too bright or shrill. I'd like it to sound more full, still a bit on the trebly side, but to also cut through well. I was looking at the black winters and d activators, but im not sure. I play through a peavey 6505 plus with a mesa cab. sorry if what I'm describing is too specific. I'd appreciate any help and recommendations, thank you.
