For pots, knobs, electronics, wire, etc., I use:
Mostly, because of price or availability
http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/ (prices are good, but if you order a lot of stuff at once, they'll mess up the order)
http://www.allparts.com/ (prices aren't the best, but they have just about everything)
Occasionally for specialized parts or price
http://www.themusiczoo.com/ (great prices if you get on the phone and talk to a sales guy. they have stuff not on the web.)

These places are usually cheaper than guitar oriented stores.

Stewmac is kind of a necessary evil. They just have a lot of stuff, and are possibly the most well-known/dominant place to get supplies.
