Re: Big trem blocks. Any difference?

killerguitar, Forgive me if this comes off as a little out of line here, but.....

There's 5 pages of a lot of talk about various adjectives. Both for and against the qualities of a brass vs. whatever other material, but other than that, there's nothing really here to substantiate anything.

Lets think realistically here for a second. You're a fairly new company and very new to this forum with, IMO, a self proclaimed superior product to a lot of other well established products. On top of that, again IMO, you're also charging top shelf prices on this stuff. Sorry bro, this place isn't exactly Ebay and most of the long timers here don't easily buy into hype.

So I guess I'm kind of issuing Killer Guitar Components a challenge. Put your product where your posts are. Why not put 10 or 20 of your blocks into the hands of some of the players here for free? There's nothing ventured on their part and with this being one of the busiest gear forums on the net, you have a lot to gain from some of the guys here giving your products real world reviews. What better to way to prove naysayers wrong?

I have no issue with putting my products where my posts are. I know, without question, that anyone who tries one (and anyone who has tried one in the past will tell you the same) will be blown away - even compared to other companies' aftermarket products. If any of you are interested in trying one of our blocks and doing an in-depth review of their results, please PM me and we can work something out.

I understand that most people will see my posts as "hype" or "spam" or whatever, but the reality is that I truly feel that we have superior products to anything else you will find anywhere in the world - that is why I left my regular job to pursue this business. I want to spread the word to all of you and prove to as many of you as I can that this is the case.

So, as I said, if you are interested in reviewing, PM or email me at rick@killerguitarcomponents.com and we can chat about details. I wish I could afford to just give away 20 of these blocks for review, but there is a lot of hand work and time that goes into each one. We don't just make 50 or 100 at a time on a big CNC machine then toss them in a package as most other companies do. Many of our blocks are actually made to order and made specifically for that person by myself or my father/business partner, Sandy.

We stand behind our products 100%, and always will.

I appreciate the offer and I'm sure we can probably work something out. I've got the beginnings of an idea, but want to talk to a couple other people and see if they think as well. I'll send you an email after bit and run it by you.

Also, see this thread for a review by someone on TGP. There is a list of reviews, testimonials, etc on our website if you'd like to check those out as well. www.killerguitarcomponents.com

Ahhhh, good ol Gear Page. To me, that place is like guitar gear crackhead comedy hour. But that's a whole other can of worms that probably isn't appropriate for this thread. The only thing I will say is, if I spent the kind of coin some of those guys do on gear, I'd probably rationalize it into sounding great to!

Let me know what you'd like to do. I am willing to put our products up against any others or put them through whatever types of testing you may have in mind. I am intrigued....

If you don't like the review on the Gear Page, see our website. Check out the "testimonials" section as well as the Demo/Review section. You can find them both on the left menu bar. Almost every customer who has purchased our blocks, bridges, claw, etc have had the same sentiment - they couldn't believe the improvement. That's my point here...
