That has to seriously be one of the funniest things I have ever witnessed in my life. It reminds me of my Casio guitar with a synth neck on it, the frets were just keys. I had a blast with that thing.

Could we ever expect to see the bitchbuckers come out on SD's regular line?
I don't think so. The actual "bitchbucker" is the bridge pickup, and it's a close derivative of a JB. That seems to be more of a custom shop order to me.

The neck pickup is very similar to a "jazz", but wound a little hotter. I like it because it's probably a solution for many people who find the 59n "whoofy", or find the "jazz" too low in output. That seems to be more of a practical pickup for the regular line, in my opinion.

Re: Bitchbucker Demo

stevo nice tone and great playing as always!!!!!!!!!!!! bitchbuckers rock!!!!!!!!! :headbang: hmm i have a CUSTOM,CUSTOM,CUSTOM and a EL DIABLO i might have to find room for a BITCHBUCKER TB in reverse zebra!!!!!!! :)

Re: Bitchbucker Demo

Cool jam! I like those sharp/pushed bends at 29-30 in the solo. Good sounding pickups, too. I want some yellow/black zebras for my Goldtop....well, maybe.

I'm curious about your 1987 Plexi Reissue. Stock? What tubes are in it, and what settings do you have? Bridged inputs?

Thanks bro.
I have JJs in it, all around. It's stock. I actually played pretty loud but still used my MASS attenuator cuz that amp really rocks the house at big volumes :saeek:
I keep my eq settings all around 12 o'clock, and the inputs are bridged, with volumes on about 8/8.

Hey man thanks for checking it out. Those pickups are both cool. It was interesting to use Jessica's guitar with my amp :)

It's wound hotter than a JB to a little over 19k and it has a small ceramic magnet instead. A custom shop pickup will usually go for about $160 but you would have to call MJ in the custom shop to get a definite answer on that.

it sounds a bit more mid heavy than mine.. but alas, that is a bit high a price for a bucker for me =(
