BKP C-bombs in my Les Paul

Jomo's Nimions
Put a set of ceramic Nailbombs in my LP earlier this evening. I was looking forward to finding the perfect set of pickups for it. Turned out to be a very short quest. If I had spec'd a custom set for it where they could read my mind for what I wanted, they wouldn't have come out any better.

I'm gonna go play it some more now.

Never tried the C-bombs. I have a C-pig currently in my full-mahogany Carvin dc125 in Eb and I'm loving it.
I feel like it sits about halfway between a Distortion and Black Winter but still it's own thing.

What would you compare the Nailbomb to?

Interesting, my all-mahogany w/maple cap DC127 almost got the Nailbombs. It has Kiesel Lithiums with the acoustic preamp, and sounds viscous, so I decided not to mess with it.

I haven't spent enough time to really draw many comparisons, but BKP's description pretty much nails it. Also spent no time playing them clean, so no comments on that yet. My tone is very modern, somewhere between metalcore and djent, so really tight bass, a good amount of mids and treble, but way less gain than you'd think. The C-bombs are very well suited to that, effortless pinch harmonics, and EMG 81 clarity.

I've heard really good things about the Warpig, and it's definitely on the list to try. I'm pretty sure that's what Rabea was using on the Toska albums, which sound fantastic.
