Black Metal/Blues/Jazz Waltz! (SH-55)

Re: Black Metal/Blues/Jazz Waltz! (SH-55)

Here's your critique: great tone, woody with some hair, still sounds like guitar.

Sense of time is not there - I'm not feeling the beat or time signature at all. I know it's tough to do with solo guitar, but it can be (and should be) done.

Musical chops: you definitely have some chops in terms of chords and voicings - that was fun to listen to.

Song: I didn't hear InnaGaddaDaVita in there

Fun - thanks for sharing!

Awesome critique- thanks.

The sense of time not being there was totally deliberate- I naturally use a lot of fermatta's and retards, but maybe I should use them less, AND make them more obvious when I do.

Or maybe I should re-think my no-metered approach to rhythm. But I reject that it "should" be done- that would cut down on the variety of music, no?

about not hearing the song- it's def. there albeit not obvious.
What "should" be done, is you should continue wearing that cute charteuse number, Sascha.

i really liked that
may a bit out-there to some, but it totally works for me
there's a soundtrack feel to it, but it still held my attention
hard to freestyle the timing with that echo on there, i'm guessing?

No, the delay posed no problems with the rhythm

and BTW- how d'ya like the goofy tail ending?- a friend of mine called it a "Disney" ending.

HOLEEE SHEEEIT!!!
that's the first time EVER that I typed the word rhythm )There- it happened again!!) and I got the spelling right on the first try.

that calls for a celebration- I'm goin' to make me a strong cup-o-black coffee.
