Blackened-White Black Winters.

Say that three times fast.

But seriously, all the talk lately about Black Winters got me to looking at them. I never realized there was a color called "Blackened-White." The last thing I need right now is some new pups, but I'd buy these just for the look. These would be bad-ass in a white guitar, with black hardware.

The icing on the cake is that they, apparently, sound real good.

Those do look sweet, and I typically do not like white pickups.

Black Metal, Death Metal, or any other extreme style.

SD marketing really needs to reposition these pickups because of all of the people playing BWs. I know of no one personally who plays those styles of metal. I think SD is ignoring a huge market.

I love Black Winters. They're my favorite Duncans along with the Nazgul.

I personally haven't attempted to play anything other than heavy chuggs on them, but people think of them as being very versatile. I do think they're really mid-focused, tight, and raspy though. Not sure how that translates to other styles of playing.
