Re: Blackout bridge pickup dead

It's less than 5 years. 5 years would be june/july 2017.. I've tested the pickup in all of my esp's (3 of them). Stone dead to litlte to no sound/signal. I've lost hope bout this pickup.. The **** can a pickup just break like that!?

So send it in for a replacement. Manufacturing defects can show up in anything after a period of time. That's what warranties are for.

Re: Blackout bridge pickup dead

Contact the factory for an RMA number, and they can tell you how to send it back.

Re: Blackout bridge pickup dead

So i checked the pins with my multimeter.. I get signal from the pins, but nothing thru the gtr.

I'm confused. You say you're getting signal from the pup? Then it's probably ok. Leave your ground lead grounded and go to the next point in the wiring. Then ohm out the connecting wire and plug. It almost sounds like your connector has gone bad.

Its an active pickup. U dont need a ground. All of my pickups work. Ive tried the pickup on all of me esp's (3) bridge neck, neck bridge. Nothing.

I'd still contact the factory. It is worth fixing.
