Blackouts Modular Preamp?

I just found out about these and I think they're a neat idea even though I usually like Passives. I was wondering, what would happen if you plugged Active EMG's into these? Would the world blow up?

When these came out I was like, great I may plug a stack single from SD but then I found SD staks are mostly 3 wires while the preamp needs 4 wires per pickup.

It'd be the same as if you divided by zero (without using L'Hôpital's Rule, but that's a limit so you're still technically not dividing anything by zero).
