If I was going to buy one of those 3 pickups based on the clips, I'd go with the Crazy 8 because it had that smooth, but tight tone. Next, the one I thought suited the clip the most was the DMLW. It was aggressive and perfect for Heavy Metal IMO. My least favorite was the Blackout. It sounded too brutal, aggressive, and huge for me. Very modern Metal.
All the tones were distinctive to me.

Glad you got some use out of it, I can hear the differences also, but I can see where some people say that they all sound similar - its the same pair of hands and the same rig after all.

The growl and grind are more prominent with less gain, the Mustaines have a more refined character than the Blackouts.

No problem. It was channel 4, modern, bold, silicon, lows at 11 o'clcock, mids at 9:30, highs at 1 o'clock, presence at 2 o'clock using 4 6L6s. Gain was at 2 o'clock.

I liked the crazy 8 and blackouts better than the mustaines
but i need to listen to then in a propper monitor.

I listened to them some more and yess.The Crazy 8 is the king there...
Alltough both actives sound not sterile ,the crazy 8 delivers more structure and dynamics...
