Blackstar ht-50

im looking for a new amp i want a blackstar, and im on quite a budget, iv ebeen looking at the ht stage series mainly the 50 watt head, is it worth the money?

I Love the Blackstar stuff...Not as familiar with the 50 watter,but I have read that people have said that the 40 watter tonally is a better amp..I don't think the 40 comes in a head though? Just a combo...Their stuff is great and alot of ex-Marshall guys involved in their amps!

Maybe research the 50 watter on many forums?

Yes and the 40 and 50 are basically the same amp but the 50 is the head and the 40 is the combo version. Is it worth it imo yes and I own a HT40 and it's suited me very well. My only gripe is the clean channel has no EQ just a tone knob and a voice switch. Mind you the clean channel isn't bad I would just rather have a EQ.
